Auto-mobi.info reports that cleantech firm Rentech Inc. revealed results for its fiscal 2010 first quarter ended December 31, 2009 and provided guidance for the fiscal year. Rentech reported revenue of $27.1 million, compared to $50.8 million for the comparable quarter in the prior year. The decrease reflects lower fertilizer prices due to declines in natural gas prices and weak economic conditions. Rentech reported a net loss of $15.5 million, or $0.07 per share, which included $0.02 per share of expenses related to the bi-annual turnaround at subsidiary Rentech Energy Midwest Corp.
