Emporia, REG agreement tabled for two weeks
The Emporia Gazette reports that an incentive compliance agreement between Emporia, Kansas and biodiesel firm REG was tabled for two weeks by city commissioners. The agreement replaces the original one that expired after plans to build a biodiesel plant in Emporia were put on hold when the economy soured. The item was tabled to give REG representatives time to provide final comments on the agreement.
