Masada pitches garbage-to-ethanol plant
TimesDaily reports that local governments in Alabama have been approached by Masada Resources Group to discuss building a facility it says will convert garbage into ethanol. Masada representatives have met individually with elected officials from Florence and Colbert County. The company’s pitch comes at a time when Florence is buying property that could be used to expand its municipal landfill. So far, local government officials have been skeptical of Masada’s figures.
