Cosan buys 83 Petrosul service stations
CNN Money reports that Brazilian sugar and ethanol group Cosan Industria e Comercio SA said that it has purchased 83 service stations from Petrosul. A price for the transaction was not disclosed, but analysts had pegged the purchase price at about $40.1 million. The deal will increase Cosan’s presence in the south and southeast markets, creating synergies with the company’s service stations and ethanol mills.
