KL Energy plant chosen in biofuel program
Biofuels International reports that a pilot cellulosic ethanol plant in Wyoming has won approval to take part in a new program supporting the development of biofuels. KL Energy is currently working on producing ethanol from wood chips, gathered from Black Hills National Forest on the Wyoming-South Dakota state line, at its test plant in Upton. The program by the U.S. Department of Agriculture is called Biomass Crop Assistance.
