Transport & Logistics News reports that a technology that may bring about significant CO2 emissions reduction from coal and gas-fired power stations is to be unveiled to three installations along the east coast of Australia next year. MBD Energy Ltd, the firm behind the technology, has partnered an algal research team based at James Cook University, to develop a test facility capable of producing 14,000 liters of oil and 25,000 kilograms of algal meal from every 100 tonnes of CO2 consumed.
