Brazil invests $6B in Mozambique biofuels
Bloomberg reports that Mozambique has signed two accords with Brazil for a $6 billion investment in biofuel exploration, the daily independent O Pais revealed. Some of the biofuels produced from sugar cane will be exported to Brazil to cut its dependence on petroleum-based fuels. About $256 million has been invested in the Mozambique biofuels sector covering 83,000 hectares.
