Biodiesel tenders floated amidst ban
The Economic Times reports that the railways and The Brihan-Mumbai Electric Supply & Transport Undertaking have floated tenders for purchase of biodiesel amidst the petroleum ministry’s biodiesel ban. The ban irked biodiesel producers, compelling several to contemplate downing shutters. At least four companies have participated in the tenders floated by the government.
