Island Biodiesel Co-op looking for storage
Times Colonist reports that the Greater Victoria-based Island Biodiesel Co-op is looking to trade fuel for space to store barrels. Until mid-June, the cooperative used a member’s carport in Saanich to house barrels of filtered oil. Since the member moved, the space isn’t available anymore. In the meantime, board members have been delivering fuel or arranging pickup for the group. The organization cannot afford to pay rent but is offering fuel instead.
