Ag-Oil to build Florida biodiesel plant
Newswire Today reports that Ag-Oil plans to build a pilot-scale non-food oilseed biodiesel production facility and algae-based integrated biorefinery that will convert Jatropha seeds, algae, and related by-products into biodiesel. The facility, along with a Jatropha plantation, will be situated on a 103-acre compound in Delray Beach, Florida. This project has the potential to yield an annual capacity of 15 million gallons of biodiesel while using equipment that processes multiple feedstocks.
