APS launches solar rooftops project in Flagstaff
Read It News reports that Arizona Public Service (APS) is launching a pilot project in Flagstaff that could provide an increase in the number of solar rooftops statewide. The APS Community Power Project aims to bring solar panels to the rooftops of homes and businesses with no upfront costs to customers. APS will own, operate and receive energy from solar panels on eligible customer rooftops. APS intends to generate 1.5 megawatts of electricity from the project.
