Canada Now Produces Over a Billion Liters of Ethanol Annually, Thanks to New Ontario Facility

MarketWatch reports that Canadian company Integrated Grain Processors Co-operative (IGPC) has officially opened its new 150 million litre ethanol plant. With the opening of this facility, Canada has reached a milestone, now producing over a billion liters of ethanol a year. In addition to ethanol production, the plant will also produce Dried Distillers Grains with Solubles (DDGS), a valuable co-product of ethanol plants used in livestock feed.
