Biodiesel and Ethanol Investing

Today’s Trucking reports that the Canadian Trucking Alliance hopes that a new study will help stall plans for a 2% biodiesel blending mandate. The study is titled “Discussion of the Potential Impact of a National Renewable Fuel Mandate on the Canadian Distillate Market.” One major find of the study is that biodiesel is not compatible with some materials and therefore has a “high solvency rate and must be free from water.”
