Switchgrass on Oklahoma Panhandle to go to Abengoa Refinery
Tulsa World reports that scientists on Oklahoma’s panhandle are growing switchgrass that will be used as feedstock at Abengoa Bioenergy’s new cellulosic ethanol biorefinery in southwestern Kansas. Abengoa expects to open its new facility by the middle of 2011 when the switchgrass will be ready for first harvest.
