Biodiesel and Ethanol Investing

MyWestTexas.com reports that Matt Nelson uses homemade biodiesel in his Chevy Silverado even though he works for the oil industry. Previously, Nelson spent a minimum of $600 every month on diesel fuel. His homemade process takes 24 hours to make 50 gallons of fuel, and at least 1.5 hours of his time. But, instead of paying $4.75/gallon of diesel, he now pays $0.40/gallon of his own biodiesel.
