Fuel Makers Competing for Waste Oil

SummitDaily.com reports that waste oil from restaurants in Summit County, Colorado is suddenly becoming a hot commodity. Since diesel prices are so high, small businesses are looking to collect the waste oil to produce biodiesel. Increased demand is ramping up the competition for waste grease throughout the U.S. and on “yellow oil” is even selling for about $2.50-2.75 a gallon on the commodity market.
