BizJournals.com reports that Nick Moser, President of LivingRoofers in Houston, is a “green” roof builder who has also converted a school bus to run on waste vegetable oil. Dane Stewart, a captain on the Houston Fire Department also learned to make his own biodiesel. He maintains a biodiesel production contraption that fits easily in his two-car garage.
