Energy and Air Quality Subcommittee Holds Renewable Fuels Meeting
Ethanol Producer Magazine reports that the U.S. House Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality Hearing recently held a meeting to talk about issues, opportunities, and implementation for the new renewable fuels standard the requires 36 billion gallons a year by 2022. The meeting discusses some highly debatable issues such as the ethanol energy balance, removing the ethanol import tariff, and volatile food prices.
