Ceres to Plant Biomass Crops for Nex-Gen Plant in Missouri
Biofuel Review reports that Ceres, Inc. announced it will plant switchgrass, high-biomass sorghum, and additional energy crops on thousands of acres in Missouri over three years. The crops will be used at a next-generation biorefinery that will produce cellulosic biofuel. The Department of Energy recently announced it would offer up to $30 million to help support the new facility.
