Schulte Makes High Yield Biodiesel with Supercritical Methanol Treatment
DailyIndia.com reports that Brent Schulte, a chemical engineering grad student, developed a supercritical methanol treatment that dissolves and causes a reaction between chicken fat and tall oil. Schulte produced biodiesel at 89 and 94% using his new treatment.
