Biodiesel and Ethanol Investing

SmartPlanet.com reports that Richard Branson, the British billionaire, announced that his company Virgin Group plans to produce biofuels for buses, trains, and cars by the beginning of the next decade. The company also will test one of its 747 jets with renewable fuels early next year. Virgin Group is working with Boeing and GE Aviation to develop biofuels for specifically for aircraft. Branson recently pledged to spend his entire 51% stake in Virgin’s airline and rail businesses to fight global warming during the next ten years.
