Tuscaloosa City Vehicles and Generators Switching to B20
Tuscaloosanews.com reports that 270 city vehicles and 14 generators in Tuscaloosa, Alabama will begin using B20 biodiesel. Although the biodiesel costs $0.02 more per gallon than traditional diesel, the city expects to cut their fuel consumption because the biodiesel mixture has a higher lubrication factor. Alabama Biodiesel Corp. will supply the fuel for Tuscaloosa’s vehicles.
