Ethanol Demand Outweighs Ethanol Produced in September
Ethanol Producer Magazine reports that Energy Information Administration released the latest statistics that in the month of September the industry produced 333, 000 barrels of ethanol per day. The demand was 380,000 barrels a day according to Renewable Fuels Association. Fuel production reached 420 million gallons of ethanol produced in September, and is expected to reach well over 5 billion gallons by this year’s end. Last year’s energy bill will require 7. 5 billion gallons of ethanol and biodiesel be used in the nation’s fuel supply by 2012.
